Socius was publish in the year 1994 of the brothers Patrick and Erik.

Up to the present-day time, there was some Line-Up problem, before all something the station of the drum concerns. From this reason, they cant publish a right demo.

In the year 1997, the duet publishes the first three songs on a Split demo with Augur. With these three songs they take a drum-computer, which didn't happy for the two.

In the year 2000, it should be so wide then. Patrick sit behind the drums and record the drum parts. On that demo you find the the first songs of the band in new versions on it.

Taunus, the region in those the Socius brothers live, is acquainted for their sagas, histories and many monuments.

So one named the new work "Goldgruben". A mountain-part in the Taunus, on which itself before much, many years the biggest Celt settlement of Hessen decided.

In the texts, it is about the darkest moments of the last 6 years, that happened all in this region.
